Rhonda Cheikh, M.S., BCBA

CEO

Rhonda knew she wanted to work with people with disabilities at a very young age. It started in middle school when there was a boy in her class who had severe autism. Rhonda used to get called out of class to calm him down in the event of self-injurious behaviors, even though he had an aide. From there, Rhonda always wanted to help children who had disabilities. At such a young age, Rhonda did not know she was helping children with autism, or even knew what autism was, and knew she wanted to learn more about this population when she has the opportunity.  Right after high school, Rhonda began working as an early interventionist and behavior interventionist.

Rhonda graduated from California State University, Fullerton with her B.A. in Communication Disorders and pursued her licensure to be a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. Rhonda worked as a SLPA for 4 years, but still had a passion to further her education. During her time as a SLPA, Rhonda noticed that other professionals in addition to SLPs, such as occupational therapists, and physical therapists, had a difficult time dealing with maladaptive behaviors during the sessions. This is when Rhonda knew she wanted to further her education to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She graduated with a M.S. from Southern New Hampshire University and attended Chapman University for the BCBA coursework. However, Rhonda did not want to stop at BCBA. Rhonda always wanted to do more for people with disabilities and decided to open a company to have the freedom to help her clients with the highest quality of care she can provide.
